Marisa began dancing at a young age with Woodbridge School of Dance and their Pure Energy Competition Dance Team, as well as attending high school at MCVTS East Brunswick  Performing Arts Program for dance. Throughout this time she studied ballet, pointe, modern, tap, contemporary, jazz, musical theater, acro, and hip hop. Additionally, she enjoyed performing works by Cleo Mack, Blair Ritchie, Michelle Robinson, Kimani Fowler, and Lauren O’Connoly. 

She is currently a senior attending Rutgers University pursuing a B.S in Exercise Science as well as a minor in dance at Mason Gross School of the Arts. Since 2016, she has taken advantage of opportunities to study under Meave Dougal, Chien-Ying Wang, Caryle Eckert, Camille Moten, Brittany Engel-Adams, and Elizabeth Malone. She has also participated in multiple workshops instructed by Tracie Stanfield, Sheila Barker, Jason Samuel Smith, and more.

Marisa is excited to dance as a member of Souli'on Coterie Contemporary Dance Company while she works towards attaining a doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
