Souli'on is a New Jersey based not for profit contemporary dance company. Founded by Barbara Vari in 2019, the company advances a mission of elevation, exploration, promotion, and appreciation of the artistry of storytelling through the presentation of creative and original dance works. The bold expressiveness displayed in the choreography unites the heart and soul of each dancer's movement with an intense connection to the human experience of the audience, embracing the spirit of its name, Souli'on Coterie, which comes from the Gaelic language meaning "Pure Soul".
